He's a busy boy. Needs to keep his wits about him!dressur wrote:Anyway - I reckon the mission of the weekend should be to get Stewart absolutely bladdered - he was FAR too sober at Silverstone!

Just head for the campsite and we'll discuss a plan of action from there. Not sure how we're going to share the banner with our parking and our display, but we'll think of something I'm sure...marcus mgf wrote:So..........................does anyone know whats going on???
Oh, and our tent is a big blue one with xpower green guyropes!

Obviously that pirate patch is affecting your eyesight quite badly. I said xpower GREEN... Extremely bright neon green so you can't miss them, even in the dark!marcus mgf wrote:X power grey guide ropes!!!!! Right ok, so ill just bulldoze my way through then

Rich Stone wrote:So what happened to the regional paddock idea then? Another thing that changed when I wasn't looking. I thought our 'Charcoal to chavness' display was to be at the front of it... Oh well.scubastewart wrote:... Not so sure about a 'stand'!!! We have a display which is being made up of the 5 charcoal cars for our special theme. Alll the others park just near by in the MGF/TF parking area ...
I've done the signs for each car and I'm quite pleased with them. The only thing is I don't know if anyone else has done anything. I can't remember who was in charge of our display, but if we've only got the signs, we need to work fast. Perhaps someone can get some red, cream (if they do them) and black balloons. I've searched t'interweb for burberry bunting but to no avail. Any other last minute ideas?
Rich.
I'll get some balloons tomorrow morning. Could you print off something burberry print and cut A4 sheets up to make bunting?

And on a slight tangent - I've whipped up some burgers and bought a couple of packets of buns, but people might want to think about bringing along a few bits and bobs to add to the barbie!

Excellent! Can you please make sure the balloons are colour coded as mentioned above? It'll help tie in the 'chav-o-meter' signs and the burberry image we're after...dressur wrote:I'll get some balloons tomorrow morning. I'm running off 20 flags now, as long as my colour cartridge lasts! It's been quite busy as I've had to run off all the photo competition entries with it too. Still, I can claim a cartridge from MGF Register as expenses for the photos... Could somebody try and get some ribbon, preferably white, approx 10mm wide? I've done the flags so they can be folded at the top and stapled to the ribbon. I'll bring the stapler and scissors and we'll assemble the bunting tomorrow. I'm thinking we can run it between the cars so we only need to go from the far edges of the windscreens of the cars on each end.
Rich.

Colour coded? I was thinking pink would be nice!!
Of course I'm getting Burberry ones!! Will try and get ribbon as well - if they stock it in the balloon shop!! Thinking red, champagne gold and black would be best match balloon wise
I would have printed some flags off - but my printer refuses to talk to my laptop as it disapproves of Vista!!

Why would you have fairy lights duck taped to the headboard?

Re: MGFest08 - 26th/27th July 2008
Excellent Ally - thanks!
I haven't had time to do anything...Been so busy with finishin off work for the year, hen nights, parties and all sorts, and also with the loss of Dee I've not really been in the right frame of mind.
I treated myself today with chav style hair extensions, which I actually love....I also have a blue tracksuit - if Stewart is still going to be dressing up in??
