Only just seen this.
Dee's birthday was in April, and I'm not sure she'd want July (the month she died in). What about February? That was her first MG meet.

Well, so far I received NO photos, apart from the ones I have lifted from Dee's photobucket account... I'm trying to avoid using pics that have already been plastered all over the forums as we need to sell this to a wide mix of people. But as you know, the templates are done. We'll discuss the financial and printing aspects shortly, so we can aim at late November/early December for launch, and then it can fall into Santa's stocking!

Curgy has the photo from when Dee and I were at Silverstone and it is also on the gallery... All the photos I have of Dee are on .Org on her gallery.

Simple solution.
Give everyone about 2 months notice that "'Meet X" will be where the group photo will be taken. Any no-shows will just have to lose out. They will have had plenty of notice!

Or am I just a hard-arsed bugger? scratch

I had hoped that when we first talked about this right at the end of July we might be able to get all of the pictures in for me to get the order off during August. Unfortunately we will lose out on the discount by leaving it till later, so either the price we sell it at will go up or the amount raised will go down....

Two months is too long now. They need to be in production by then. Also, we did say we were going to recreate the 'Charcoal to Chav' line-up, so that could be done. We could use a bit of gold and red tinsel to add a seasonal touch. It'll be alot easier getting the 5 cars together than a whole group...

I'd be happy for a photo of my car in there as I said earlier, but I have no photographic talent at all, the best photo of mine is the one Rich took in June at the meet. Very Happy

TBH I'm not sure that Charcoal Chav is really the best image! but hey I'll join in with it if everyones up for it. Tongue

As long as everyone sees it as fun, I don't think there will be a problem. After all, we're using a picture of Stewart's car under a certain mini for his pic and that's a fun moment too.

I think we need at least one Zed to balance things up...
