Hope you are all well

What dates are people planning on going to MG Live? My diary is getting pretty full so I want to get organised as soon as possible! I know I cant do Friday 10th (until after work) or Saturday 11th so will probably take a trip over on Sunday 12th. Are we doing a convoy, having a stand etc?

I've never been to MG Live before so dont know what to expect? Looking forward to it though!

Good question! I'm not sure which day I'm going over but it's probably going to be Sunday so we can go over together. Have you pre-booked or are you paying on the gate? If you haven't booked, hold on as I may be able to assist...

Whats this tour de silverstone all about I wouldnt mind taking the Grape round a lap of the circuit but it says the convoy will take about 4 hours if you start from one of the 4 starting points, I dont really want to waste 4 hours on a convoy and not have time to check out the show but I would really like to do the lap of the circuit? any suggestions?

Karen and the kids are coming too so I'll probably be darting around in random directions chasing the kids.
Oh I'm also doing the tour of the circuit on the sunday...

The tour of the circuit is £15 I'm not sure it's linked to the road run though?
I have to say the ticket set up is pretty confusing so I've probably messed it up

To clarify the tickets, advance ticket sales close on the 28th June, so get them before then or you will have to pay the higher price on the door!

The Tour de Silverstone is a set of road runs that take place on the Friday, and they finish with a lap of the circuit.

The Circuit Tours are on the Sunday morning. They are on the application form called 'Circuit Tours' or on the website www.mglive.com when you choose the tickets you want.

Haven't booked tickets yet as was planning on sunday but would be up for camping if others going to be there, circuit tour...hmm...lap of the track i take it...anyone know how this works what time etc?? is it trundle round in along queue do you reckon??

The clue is in the name....!!! Circuit Tour. Not a race, or a track day, but you go round in single file, no overtaking, etc. There will be a pace car, driven by one of the racers, and you go round in a group in single file following the pace car that would be taking the racing line, but obviously it is not at speed. No slowing down to build up a gap and then flooring it!

Can't remember how many laps it is, but at least a couple. Can't remember the exact timings, but it is Sunday Morning! It's only £15!

Off the top of my head, the tickets on the door are £5 extra. But, circuit tours are unlikely to be for sale then, as they will have sold out in the advance sales.

We are getting around 100 booking forms returned each day, and almost as many through the online sales. And hardly any of these are for just one ticket!

The changes for this year are certainly not down to just me, the whole organising committee have been working hard to make it bigger and better. I just can't see myself being able to go through a second year of working on MGLive, MGFest, StarCar project, and all the other director/committee duties! Hopefully I can do a few less next year, as it's a bit much at the moment!

Some exciting news about the Gymkhana at MGLive! Might be of particular interest to DaveD, seeing as he came 2nd in the fun driving tests at MGFest07, and the gymkhana is kind of similar but requires a passenger
