You didn't exactly leave me behind - I just wasn't quite as far up your a$$ as I would have liked! Didn't dare ram it too hard with the needle still on cold - plus I clearly have a greater fear of getting done for doing 70 in a 50 zone!!
Anyway - I'm sure yours is probably quicker than mine nowadays - Wriggly is an old man now!!
Excuses!!!
Just for the record, I would never speed, and you must have been mistaken about me doing 70 in a 50 area.....

That usually leads to better performance! The engine is loosened up nicely and as long as it's got decent oil should run beautifully.dressur wrote:Anyway - I'm sure yours is probably quicker than mine nowadays - Wriggly is an old man now!!

Absolutely - I'm great at excuses!!
i meant - I would have had to do 70 to catch up in the 50 bits after the NSL bits - Wasn't that obvious??

I hope I'm going to be okay for Sunday...I can hardly walk. I was in Focus today with parents looking at radiators for the lil loo i'm decorating, and I ended up in tears I have a trapped nerve in the lower part of my back and it is killing me. I'm going to the osteopath tomorrow, so fingers crossed I'll be mended. Oh, and I'm also supposed to be out on the town on Saturday too....I won't have a hangover though
FINGERS CROSSED I'LL BE ABLE TO WALK!!!!!!!!

Oh dear! Sorry to hear that Max. Do you know how you managed to get in that predicament?
Hope you're better for Sunday. Looks like the weather is moving faster than expected and it may be quite nice so tops down. Won't be the same without you there though...

He made that excuse when I ended up in front the day I forgot to turn off at the right junction to go to work!!
I'm getting my coolant leak fixed next week - so I'll be a bit happier to give it some!!
I think someone ought to drive Wriggly on Sunday to see what they think - maybe I'm being silly about treating him gently!! Stew?

I'm off to the osteopath at 3pm today...I've had to stop glossing the skirting boards too! lol So, hopefully the osteopath will work his magic on me and set me straight. Might have to borrow one of Kates crutches eh lol.
I will text you in the morning on Sunday Rich, to give you a defo yes or no. Hopefully it will be a yes as I'm hoping to drag Stiff along too. He wants to go 'punting'. We could all have a race !!!
Oh, and I don't know how I've done this to my back, all i was doing was sitting on the sofa reading the Fast Forward MG mag

Awe, bless your heart Dave! I'm going out in town tonight, I'm not going to be drinking too much either - hopefully! I'm not too sure if I am staying at my house, or my friends. I should know this afternoon....however If I am at my friends is it closer to your house...You know where the Harrowden Golf Course is, opposite Orlingbury Road (Little Harrowden, or Great Harrowden), near the speed camera on the A509, well, if you turn right there you will see a layby...she lives in that big house on the left.
Anyway, I will let you know later on today whats happening. Thanks poppet!

I know exactly where you mean. I am off to Batman tonight so drop me a text rather than post here as I might not see it.

The car park will be empty then! We're LEAVING at 10.15amM77XNE wrote:I will try to be at the Toby for 10.25ish - you all know what im like!
Perhaps it would be better if Dave picks you up and you both arrive at 10am...
Rich
GUTTED!!!
I see from a picture that Stiff sent me that it is very nice there.
I am, as you know gutted I've not come. I went out lastnight, being careful what I drank due to painkillers. The pain went away a bit lastnight, so I danced a little bit...But I was paying for it this morning!
I will come to the next meet hopefully though eh.
Hope you've all had a good one!

It was as usual a lovely meet again. The rain kept away and the mixed grill was superb

Absolutely lovely morning/afternoon. Had a great time - shame it chucked it down on me on the way home!
And yes, poor Henry is sitting a "little" high after the suspension check
