Was just wondering... Do you know which parts of the country they're coming from? Nobody has suggested any other convoys exept the one I'll lead from Northampton, so wondered if we could sort one from Bucks and Beds and let our new guests join in...

Most the ZRs are from Oxford (although one is from Somerset Shocked

and one other is from Greater London), the ZS is from Bracknell and the ZT is Bucks. I would be happy to sort out a Bucks convoy perhaps from leaving from Stokenchurch for the M40?

So not many actually from our 'region' then! Still, it'll be good to have them along. And it looks like there may be one or two we could sign up, which is really what we're looking for!!!!

I would suggest meeting at The Kings Hotel, Stokenchurch (HP14 3TA) at 10:45 which should leave plenty of time to get to Whitney by 11:30.

Let's hope that the seven so far from our region all turn up and get signed up!

Another update. Sadly Darren (ZT 260) will not be able to make it due to a previous commitment, however he does intend to come to a future meet. He has though sent me a fantastic photo of his car with two other identical Bittersweet V8s Very Happy

It was taken at SMC in High Wycombe; Darrens is the one on the left, the middle car is the SMC manager's and the last is for sale!!

A few of us have been over to the rose revived tonight, and I checked what time they open on the Sunday.... 08.30 for breakfasts!!!! Anyway, so I suggest we aim to meet for 11:30 so that we can grab a good spot if the weather is good. Rich, I'll leave you to update the website etc. if that's ok.

Sorry, but I cant make it. I had my weekends mixed up and I'm at a wedding (cant get out of it as I am the best man!).
Seriously cant believe I got this wrong, and theres loads of new people / cars I wont meet /see.

What are you like? Show them you are a sensible mature driver and not a 'girl racer' ... Anyhow, apart from against the V6s, you'd be perfectly fast enough and far more manouverable... at least the car will! Rolling Eyes

Well I think I will be the only car from Stokenchurch then as the Zeds will be making their own way. Ally your VVC would also keep up with a V6 to be honest, so if you change your mind I'll be there.

Regarding the weather, I'll be braving it so I hope our guests will too. I'll post an update on Friday night with the latest list

Ally your VVC would also keep up with a V6 to be honest, so if you change your mind I'll be there.

You didn't see me trying to keep up with Stewart last night - mind you , it was a lot to do with me being worried that my car had been sitting outside the office since 9am, whereas Stew was clearly warmed up - and trying to wind me up!!

Ally, yours is a VVC and mine is only an mpi!!! But, you are right, best to let it warm up before you drive it hard! I wouldn't have shot off and left you behind tho, was just enjoying getting my foot down!

Looks like I will leave Kathryn's car at KH and she will use my car as it has started getting the Britball graphics on it. Still have more to come and fit, but want to show it off so she will bring it along for me!

You didn't exactly leave me behind - I just wasn't quite as far up your a$$ as I would have liked! Didn't dare ram it too hard with the needle still on cold - plus I clearly have a greater fear of getting done for doing 70 in a 50 zone!!

Anyway - I'm sure yours is probably quicker than mine nowadays - Wriggly is an old man now!!
