My TF bootlid is now fitted...:)
Well I had a little time whilst the kids were watching a film today so I had a go at swapping my bootlid over.
It was a fairly simple process and took about 90 - 120 minutes as a one man job (I did stop to take a fair few photos for a possible 'how to' but mainly so I could remember where the wires connected etc. so now I just need a visit from Lee to sort my stripes out and she'll be good as new ...maybe a bit better than new actually.
Oh and the TF lid is made for the F rear bumper, they just go really well together.

Is a it a perfect colour match, or will it need blending in? Looks good though.

Well done sir, I fitted a TF boot to my dads F and it des suit a standard F when looking at the rear. Fiddle feeding the wires out and in the boot lid isn't it
I have a TF boot that I plan on doing something with it for Fizzbot but haven't fully decided on the 'plan' so its still round the side of the garage collecting leafs

The colour match is pretty much spot on as I had it sprayed, it just looks a bit wierd without the stripe on it...Sambomonkee wrote:Is a it a perfect colour match, or will it need blending in? Looks good though.

Re: My TF bootlid is now fitted...:)
I see the picture now, i was going to ask have you got the Trophy spoiler fitted too and you have, never been keen of TF lids with spoiler as they look abit out of place but if you like it then thats all that matters
Once the stripes are on it I think it will take your eye away from being new paint and your never notice the difference

I tnd to agree with you ref the spoiler, however I love the trophy f look and also love the TF bootlid, so now I have both and it balances the front sPlitter nicely.... Oh my mm perfect garage space has been ruined as the spoiler sticks out the back more than my old one so I had to move the car forward an inch , which meant moving my rolling tool chest.

Re: My TF bootlid is now fitted...:)
Should of left the spoiler off it to save moving the toolbox
Thought about turning the car around and backing in as that way when the garage door comes down it has plenty of room

I reckon it looks good, but I've always been a fan of the trophy spoiler no matter what boot it's on. Looking forward to seeing it in 3D!
So does this mean that Ollie can have the old spoiler now? PM the financial details and I'll get it sorted for you. Could even meet up for a pint and collect it...

I think it was because it was a link to .org that made it appear and disappear randomly. I've fixed it by saving the pic to the SmS PhotoBucket account and linking there instead.
