Is she bringing her own car or are you coming together? The more cars the merrier!Tony wrote:Dawn should be along to this one so she won't be the only girlie
Any more takers? I still have a couple of tickets from the original batch.

Put her down as bringing her own car unless there's a shortage of tickets.

Rich what are the arrangements for this one? What time do we need to be there for?
And does the other Captain fancy a convoy from our neck of the woods?

Ok, details for the Northampton convoy are as follows:
Meet at The Priory, A45 Wellingborough (NN8 2LF) at around 8.15am for an approx 8.30am leave.
For those going directly to the event, try to be there around 9.15am which should give us time to establish where out area is and get the club stand set up.

Rich, leaving the Priory at 8.30am will get us to Kimbolton at about 8.50am, Do you really want anyone else arriving almost an hour later? (if you do then I'll shut up now)Rich wrote:Ok, details for the Northampton convoy are as follows:

Well I was aiming for just after 9am arrival so that's not too bad, bearing in mind that when I set a leaving time we usually end up leaving 10 minutes after! I wanted to get there quite early so we have setting up the before other visitors arrive. However I've now edited the arrival time for the rest of our bunch!

Not a problem mate. Not sure what your route will be and whether it'll cross ours but you can always wait at the entrance if you're there before us. You've got my mobile number haven't you?Captain Slow wrote:Rich being as I couldn't come to the meet this evening Marcus & I will need to meet you somewhere on your route to collect the tickets to get in.

Rich,
Kelvin Fagan may be attending the event, should I offer him one of the spare passes and invite him to join the stand?

Kelvin has accepted the offer of a pass and will be happy to join us. I've given him my mobile number and your mobile number (hope that was ok) and said someone will meet him at the gate if he calls just before he arrives.Rich wrote:Why not? That's fine Tony... He might have to have an SmS sticker put on his car though!
So have you manage to persuade Dawn that she must bring her ZR?

Re: Kimbolton Charity Classic - 18th July 2010
Not yet. I even offered her the ZT for the day. The only angle left is to take the ZT myself and let her drive the 'F.
But if I take the ZT along that road, it won't be me tagging along at the back
