Kimbolton Country Fayre - Sunday 13th July 2014

Once again, volunteers from The Rotary Club of Kimbolton Castle and The Sporting Bears Motor Club are hosting the Kimbolton Country Fayre. It is held in the beautiful grounds of Kimbolton Castle in Cambridgeshire, the home of Kimbolton School (PE28 0EA). Take a look at their website HERE.

Our convoy will start in the car park of The Priory, Wellingborough (NN8 2LF), and will leave at 9am.

I have 20 tickets which will be handed out at the start of the convoy over. You still have to pay to get in but the ticket ensures your space on the stand. If you're interested, please add your name on this thread.

that Red Trophy in Flore may have had  the original head gasket.

(The new owner has requested a new gasket, as there was no history to say it had gone, only 44k)

Update 15/7. It was still in bits in the workshop yesterday, when Mark's Rover 211 passed the MOT.

No mention of HGFS on mine's history either. Not sure if that's worrying, good luck or just a sign of the extra care taken over the build of the early Trophys.

Back to main subject...

Kate and I will not be able to attend this year due to events just prior to last year's convoy to the same event! She has just come out of hospital after having foot reconstruction so can't walk anywhere and needs my assistance.

However, for those still going and meeting up for the convoy at the Priory, I'm happy to pop over to deliver the tickets so you still get the allocated spot. There were predictions of heavy rain but it's not looking quite so bad now with a hint of rain for only a short period, so I'm sure it'll still be a good day out.
