Plans for the year ahead Empty Plans for the year ahead

Well it's been fairly quiet on here for the last few days so I thought I'd make a list of things I'm planning to do to the Banshee this year and if anyone else wants to join the thread feel free Smile

  • Fit Lowering pins - got but havent sorted out , hopefully my Hydrogas pump will help.
  • MGTF rack - got but not done anything about it looks OK to fit but need pennies for a
  • wheel alignment so might as well do at the same time as the pins.
  • Fit Mike Satur Bell crank - got but havent done anything with it in 2 years! just a bit scared to fit as I've heard horror stories about the roll pin.
  • Polybushes - got but done nothing with them, and (probably wont to be honest)
  • Mems3 conversion - planned
  • Z&F remap - planned
  • Fit solid subframe mounts- not got,not costed, not got a clue how tricky to fit they are
  • Fit subframe cross brace - got but cant fit until solid subframes are done.
  • I've also got my eye on a set of individualising valves for the hydrogas pods, just need a steer from Matt if they are any good, oh and I havent got the money either.

I think thats about it, not a bad list considering I thought I'd done everything I'd ever want to get done back in 2010 Laughing
Any advice or thoughts greatfully recieved.
So whats everyone else got planned???

Nick sounds like you have a full program for this year!!!

For me on the TF

1.Get the bumper repaired and repainted
2.Install some new ICE
3.Install some new dampers

On the Rover 75

1. Get it started
2.Get it fixed and MOt'ed
3.Buy a flat cap

I take it you're referring to the little silver one and not Ollie. Just don't try going to the dark side with it!
Mazda driver

Actually, in all fairness, it's not a bad little runabout to get you to work and back. There's a lot worse out there...

Aye the new grey one Laughing

Have to have something "sensible" to lug our camping/gig/cycling gear around eh?

That'd be a major challenge in the eff!

Oooh, challenge! We like challenges! Shocked

Digressed! Embarassed

My plans are to keep Smudge and TC on the road at the same time, pennies allowing... Laughing

Both cars are near enough as I want them but subtle mods will creep in... but they're top secret so you'll just have to wait and see what I've been up to. Cool

And Smudge still could be sold if the right buyer was found... just so I could start another small project! Twisted Evil

Bromance alert - If you two are going clothes shopping together might I suggest you buy a matching pair of MX-5s rather than ZTs?

For me i would like to get a 2nd motor to do the work mileage as its now 250 a week and let the trophy be pampered, depends on what comes up .

mods will be minimal, starting with putting original trophy badges back on and looking at suspension...........but i might be tempted to buy something shiny Cool

Stu, I really need to get your calendar to you... That way you've got something to make your plans for the year on! I think we'll have to arrange a meet up somewhere.
