MoT'd for another year
Got the piece of paper to keep me legal for another year
And only cost £27.42 at Halfords so good result all round.
Only 4 advisory notes:
1: Exhaust noisy [7.1.1a] I explaned that it was designed that way, but he was not amused
2: Exhaust has part of the system slightly deteriorated - will have to have a good look underneath to check it out
3: Exhaust hitting on rear suspension bush - a bit more worrying, I had a garage fit the TT for me so again will have to get under and have a look but hopefully only a minor adjustment needed.
4: Rear brake discs corroded and appear worn - don't look too bad to me but will keep a watch on them.
So, 4 advisory notes BUT, none of the ones that were reported last MoT were reported this time just like none of the advisory notes from two years ago appeared last year!

A pass is a pass, conratulations.
We usually use Longmarsh in wellingborough for MOT's, not the cheapest but the tester is a good friend.

Yes, don't know how long the deal is on for. I booked it on line and when it came to "check out" it asked for AA membership no to get the AA discount. I entered my number and the price went up to £36 so I quickly back tracked!!!Lee121 wrote:...how come so cheap??....are Halfrauds doing a deal??

Absolutely right - I just think it is amusing that the Advisory Notes change every year without anything being fixed, especially as the two previous MoTs were both done at Souls.Tony wrote:A pass is a pass, conratulations.
