No probs matto, but I still can't work out why you want to come off at the A43... I'd recommend this way ... or is it just your love for dual carriageways (and speed cameras)... Rolling Eyes

I would have said via the M1 but those flippin' roadworks are a pain, even on a Sunday!

I'm still waiting for a reply from Patrick (MG 'M' Group) regarding what time we can get in to set up, so I can't set a definite time for meeting at the Toby. However, if it remains at 10am, we need to be leaving the Toby at 9.15am, so we can meet from 9am if that's ok with everyone...

Ok Neil, lets meet at the main services of the M40/A43. To get to the Toby for 9.00, we should meet at about 8.40?

It's the name I use on other forums as 'Neil 180' had been already taken and used the first part of surname matto. It’s also Italian (which I speak a little of) for mad/crazy...

IMPORTANT UPDATE!

I have finally received an email from Patrick of the MG 'M' group. We can get in just after 9am to set up our stand, so this will mean meeting at the Toby an hour earlier (8:15am).

Is everyone OK with that or does anyone want to make their way over later?

Sorry Darren, I wouldn't know. But I do hope there will be at least a burger van or something. We're taking a picnic lunch just in case. Or you could always pop out to the pub up the road for a nice meal.

The company was great and it only rained once. Met a nice chap from Slough, Derek I think, who wanted to join the F Register because he had bought an Eighty Anniversary TF a week ago because he was 80 the week before Shocked

Great day out and a decent drive out to boot. And of course the company was first class too Very Happy

Along the M40, on the way back, I saw three classic Met Police Rovers; an 'N' registered blue P6 V8, an 'A' registered SD1 in full livery and 'P' registered facelift 800. All of them seemed to be driven by real Police Officers Shocked

I wonder if the Met had its own collection Question

Yep, a great day once we got the drizzle out of the way! Our small line-up was complimented with loads of Zeds, including some rather nice ZT 260s and a very rare ZT 320...

As for the result of the SmS Regalia raffle, the winner is...
