New Clock, temp gauge
Now you all know that the Mk1 clocks are crap, so I looking for ideas on how to or what to replace the standard clock in the ZS.
I want it to be able to tell the time and outside temperature as a must. It also must run from the cars battery (most ebay ones require watch batteries).
So, whats peoples ideas on how to replace it, and replace it with what?

Re: New Clock, temp gauge
I put a TrafficMaster clock in mine. It worked quite well, surprisingly, giving warnings of congestion on motorways in real time. Better than the satnav as that needs a subscription!
As far as a temp gauge is concerned, I got one from Lidl for a fiver. It gave internal and external temperatures and had an alarm if it went below freezing outside. Problem was that the sticky pad it came with wasn't that good and it kept falling off the dash when I was driving so in a fit I ripped it off and killed it!

I wanted it to look pretty much OEM. Traffic master is a no go, as thats being turned off.

Yep, Traffic Master was unfortunately terminated the other month which is a real shame.
No idea what to use but I've seen various cheap after market time and temp meters which are a similar size but they all generally look really tacky and cheap, Trick would be to find one that illuminates and can be stripped down to the bare screen to be fitted into the console.
