Re: Custom 7" screen into clock space
Not bad the screen looks very slim, slim enough for it you slide out of the dash (phase 2 )

Re: Custom 7" screen into clock space
As always Kevin that looks like quality work, very similar to the old volvoS60 sat nav screen, looks factory fit.

Re: Custom 7" screen into clock space
The screens are really cheap but it can be popped out, test fitted today but not to sure on it
its still not 100% so will have a crack at flocking it and the will do the clock surround at the same time

Re: Custom 7" screen into clock space
a steering wheel cover may as well be pink and fluffy
doesn't look too bad fitted. just flocking the upper cover section?
If you want to change the layout in the future how about getting rid of the centre vents and gauge, trim down the dash plate locating the hazard switch into the middle of the blanks and then have the screen above the switches, that will be a cleaner look with matching lines against the switch pack, the gauge could either go else where or change it to an ecu display using the screen

Re: Custom 7" screen into clock space
first time doing anything like this so im a bit rubbish, the steering wheel cover is to cover the wear, i have a momo wheel in the garage that was fitted but it was very light and made steering more of a chore plus the horn wire kept snapping
You can buy me a new wheel if you like im broke due to being off work from surgery and on ssp

Re: Custom 7" screen into clock space
I actually think it looks pretty good! The only thing that looks not quite right is the angle but I'm guessing that might have something to do with the fit under the windscreen.
Ignore Matt's comment about the wheel cover. It's just that he has the choice of 50+ wheels in his collection so doesn't appreciate what us mortals have to compromise with... Might have to use one in my Freelander as leather steering wheels seem to be like rocking horse poo to obtain...
