Have you tried giving it a good tug? Shocked

I know that inertia belts tend to slow down in winter weather, although could never really understand why. I suppose it must be colder damp conditions or something. I'm pretty sure you can take them apart, but they aren't so expensive if you can't be bothered. You could always use the opportunity to have coloured belts to match your interior...

What I do in my own personal time is private mate Laughing

But yes I did give it a really good tug as only a married man can, so off to the bay it is then.

Well I was going to suggest hitting it with a rubber mallet but I suppose this has had the same effect... Laughing
