You going now Lee?
Thanks.
I'm camping-definitely the Saturday evening and possibly the Friday too.

According to the weather this morning (checked online too), Saturday is going to be bright and sunny and Sunday is going to be a wash-out... Don't know if that will make any difference to people's decisions on which day to go but I'm still probably sticking to Saturday...

Think I might take the Streetwise if that's the case-don't really fancy the ZS being covered in mud!

Re: Renault World Series, Silverstone - 20th/21st August 2011
Unfortunately, I'm not going to make it this weekend after all. A family commitment has meant that I need to be close to home and Silverstone isn't really close enough. I am gutted as I was really looking forward to this, but I'm sure you guys will take loads of pics and post them here for us less fortunate folk to have a look at.
Of course, this means that I have two tickets available if anyone wants them...
Also, the weather appears to have changed to sunshine and possible showers for Saturday and Sunday!

With Rich not coming, is there still going to be a meet up in Towcester on Saturday and would anybody mind if a mate in a Alfa came along??

Hi Colin
As far as I know, the dot orgers are still meeting at Jacks Hill cafe, check Rosco's post.
Are you going on Sunday as well?

We enjoyed it too on Saturday. The highlight for me was the Renault formular one Lotus
demonstration. That sound is the most exciting you will hear in a long time and made up my mind to attend the SS GP next year........not a bad day out for a freebe.

Not able to make next couple of Pub meets...............Suffolk bound on kiddie watch
once more. Got to help out......we know it makes sense.
See you all again asap
Happy days
ps: had a lovely day at Middleton Hall Tamworth sunday. Invite from the Octogon MG club, nothing younger than a T type. The old hall and estate is hundreds of years old. Fantastic place.
Parked under the trees in the old orchard laden with fresh, ripe sweet English apples, magic.
A silver band played in the other old house and a bar was available in the garden. Old English far off day experience, perhaps a lost world, yeh?
