Ok, so the last one wasn't hot, but at least we still managed to stay outside!

So the next one is August 20th. I should imagine there will be plenty of talk about BritCars'09 at this one as it'll only be just over two weeks away. However, there will be the usual banter going on so please drop in for a chat!


I've had an idea for a small Autumn Weekender, to be held right on our doorstep! We can chat about that too...

I should be OK, as for police interest I had enough of them following me around when I was 17 and driving a noisey mini so I'll give that a miss

To be honest I'll be glad to offload the watch as it looks great and I'm tempted to have it for myself....but guess I'll have to just buy a ticket like everyone else...

Billing Mill on the est side on Northampton. Come along the A45 towards Peterborough and come off at the junction signposted Billing Aquadrome. Go past the entrance to the Aquadrome (roundabout), pass the petrol station on the right and the garden centre on the left and immediately at the end of the garden centre is the entrance to a car park on yiur right. The pub is to the left across a tiny little bridge over water.

The PO website says it is 9UE. 9EU takes you into the residents bit on the worng side of the A45.

Big problem with the area in general. Both google maps and multimap put the pub in totall the wrong place, and that's even after follow the pub's own link!



As long as you can find the roundabout with the BP garage, you'll be fine with Dave's directions.

Yeah, good to meet you too! I hope you'll be able to attend many more meetings. The evening 'local' meetings are quite different to our 'regional' pub runs with different people tending to join us. Our next pub run will be to somewere in Bucks, some time in September, but we have Brit-Cars'09 first!
