Wheel gunk
I have to do a 300 mile round trip to drop my littl'un down at his grandparents for half term - but still have a spare that refuses to come off! Any one know where I can get the emergency stuff in case i have yet another puncture!

I'm pretty sure halford s sell it, take a wander down and ask the idiots, there, they'll say no we dont, so then look around and find it yourself ....that's how it seems to work when I go there anyway! hopefully your local guys are a little more helpful

Last time I went to Halfrauds - the spotty oik told me they didn't sell fuses!! Doens't exactly fill you with confidence!
I also rather object to 12 year olds asking me if I'm sure about purchasing two part filler-because it's quite tricky stuff to use!!

Halfords definitely have it, and I think it is about £7 IIRC. Holts Tyre Weld or something like that.

No problem, we'll have a look and see what we can do. I'll bring the hacksaw just in case.... My usual labour rate is 2 portions of chilli for an hours work!

Nick doesn't need food parcels though - so it depends on the deal really!!

Re: Wheel gunk
Fair enough, but I actually own a hack saw, so I'm pretty cheap considering I bring my own tools! The big question is, how does your chilli compare with Maxines?! I need to make sure I'm going to do alright out of the deal!

I haven't tried Max's, so I can't comment! I've never had a complaint about my culinary masterpieces- which are stocked in many a bachelor freezer in South Bucks!!
