Morning All,

I took the Grape for it's MOT yesterday....sadly it failed Crying or Very sad but not on much! Very Happy

It failed on the Drivers side broken Anti Roll Bar Link. I saw it up on the ramps and noticed it straight away, so knew it would fail... not too bad though, my garage is fitting a new one tomorrow for cash so I save the Vodka And Tonic!

Got a few advisories:

  • Flexi part of the exhaust (from downpipe) was blowing - stuck a little bit of slurry over it for the emissions test.
  • Few bulbs out
  • handbrake low

All of you boys/girls with your exhausts - do you know if you can buy the flexi part seperate or is it a full downpipe?

Hi Seb, the flexi piece is part of the down pipe, theres a company that does stainless ones for £50 which is an utter bargain, and once fitted you wont need to worry about it again

Cheers Nick - That's not a bad price - the hard part will be fitting it!

although the product states 1.8i, will it fit on the VVC engine?

Cheers

It should fit the VVC as they are the sameI think.
I believe the only time this part changed was with the late Mk2 and MGTF when it moved to a 6 bolt pattern.
