I saw this on my ebay hunts and though it might be useful if any one wanted to rebuild a mg maestro

Hmmm. Not many valves... 
Those 'O' series engines were bulletproof. It was the bodywork around them that fell apart. I'm assuming this has been refurbished by an independent engineer, as the block is not painted gold as tge factory refurbs were and not it's original red.
