The weather is looking pretty poor for tomorrow, so I'm sorry to say that I'm going to give this one a miss - by the looks of it we are going to have quite a bit of snow on the Chilterns

Damn & Blast! Somethings come up. Won't be coming today after all. Sorry.
If you're right about the snow Neil, pehaps not a bad thing TB2 isn't adapted to driving in the snow. Something about 400hp and ice don't mix............?

Re Murray
I have not met him as yet. Only contacted by PM as a fellow Kiwi. As far as I can gather they are touring. Has the Y here. Guess the Le 500 will return to NZ at some time but it is only a guess. Hope he turns up today and we will find out more.

Good grief! A bunch of softies on here... As Lee says, it's just rain here. Had frost overnight but took five minutes to clear it and everywhere else it seems to be melting anyway!
So we might not see some of you until next year then... Merry Christmas!

Just got back from a great meeting. Although we all seemed to arrive alot earlier than planned (some earlier than others....Paul!), the clouds parted and we were graced with sunshine and blue skies for a reasonable time. Our guests Murray and his wife turned up in their brand new crystal white TF LE500. An unfortunate number plate but there we go! (See the pics on the link below).
It was a reasonable turnout and Stewart managed to shift a few of our calendars out of his boot. I'm very happy with the final product!
Pictures from the day can be found here.
Rich
P.S. Mike, your pic is in the members' gallery as promised!!!!

Yes a good meet today.
Kiwis Murray and Christine will I am sure meet up with us all again, they seemed to really enjoy themselves especially talking to Graham about their respective 'Y' type MG's.
The callendar looks excellent. Ok ok it IS worth the fourteen quid!
Tried to talk young Keeley into driving her TF in the 'Arctic run, not sure I managed to though.....

Very grumpy to have missed today - hope you all had a good day! I think Wriggly is a bit sick anyway, so might have been a smart move to stay close to home.
Have I missed something? '2' SMS events in Dec? As per oxford meet thread?

The Dog House Hotel Christmas Meeting isn't an SmS meeting as such... It's an MGF Register meeting... But if you want to count that, there's three!!!!Dark Knight wrote:There is the Sunday lunch at the Dog House and then there is the SMS Christmas party
Can't the Jag handle a little snow then?Matto 180 wrote:Bunch of softies indeed We Bucks folks get real snow on the Chilterns I'll have you know not like you flat-landers with your rain!!
Hmmm... Go on then... I think quite a few people will be doing that. It wouldn't really be good taste to distribute them at the MGF Register meeting!Matto 180 wrote:(can I collect my calendar there?)

Still with a NZ connection. Just watching a travel program. Kiwi girl explaining to an Austian guy she has met>>>
Hey, in New Zealand we have a Tuesday meet in the local super market, you buy some Bananas and put them in your trolly. If you put them upright then you are Hetrosexual if you put them....well you get the idea. The Austrian guy was struck dumb, gobsmaked as you say here!
What do you make of that?

Yet again my plans were foiled, have had nasty chest infection and didn't think hanging around in cold was gonna help.Glad there was a decent turnout.

I thought you were going to be a passenger at one time. I thought the Jag was only coming out if the ZT wasn't coming...Matto 180 wrote:Yes, but only when you're not trying to follow 400bhp ZT in the ice!!!
