Re: Sideways!!
Personal choice for me is the Continental tyre(s) seems to be a solid all rounder

Re: Sideways!!
Lucky escape John! I have not experienced the GSD2s but have Toyos on both the Steptronic and the nw Trophy and I love them.
Read this http://www.mgf.ultimatemg.com/group2/tyres/index.htm that I got from http://www.mgf-tf-central.co.uk/
By the way. Does anyone know the correct tyre pressures for a Trophy? Should they be 28F 28R as with the standard F?

Re: Sideways!!
I've had GSD2s and Proxes. They perform exactly the same IMO. The sensible choice lies with the Proxes as they are £30 each cheaper!
Toyo`s fitting on friday. Excellent price
I took your advice and got the Toyo Proxy T1-R. I trawled the internet and rang dealers and in the end got all four fitted for a price of £265 which I think is really cheap for 16 inch tyres. I could have purchased the tyres a bit cheaper but by the time I added postage and fitting it was cheaper to go to Black Circles. I have a fitting station only 5 miles from at Upper Heyford on the old airfield.
Of to France for two weeks on friday so cant wait to try them out on those wonderful French roads which are so empty and and in such good condition.
Thanks all for your comments and advice

So you're going to Protyre! I'll be going there to have my big boots changed. 225/40/R18 aren't cheapBlue Steel wrote: I took your advice and got the Toyo Proxy T1-R. I can highly recommend www.mytyres.co.uk for cheap tyres. I found Toyos listed on there at less than £50 each delivered. The prices fluctuate a bit, but they're never high.
