Carbon fibre dash kit is in (well- most of it!!)
I'm very proud, spent a considerable amount of time yesterday sitting in my living room in my overalls, with newspapers everywhere, and a couple of oily rags..
Then I got a bit bored, so I went and took the vents out of my car and fitted the carbon fibre kit..
It looks fab - I love it. Haven't done the central console yet as I can't work out how to remove it - and my internet was down last night - so couldn't find any how tos - plus I need to rope in another pair of hands.
I then nearly had an incident on the way to Sainsburys as I was admiring my vents rather than watching the car in front - they are very sparkly in sunlight!

You clearly don't understand the basic rules of DIY:
If it's stuck - hit it with something heavier
If it's bent - jump up and down on it
If it squeaks - spray it with WD40
If it's broken - superglue it
Thats what my dad taught me - and it works on Land Rovers!

Hourly rate relates to inches of viper stripe applied!!

Re: Carbon fibre dash kit is in (well- most of it!!)
Hey, you didn't think I did mine did you? I had them done by a professional signwriter! It was a very difficult job to get them looking straight with all the curves of the F's body. The worst bit of all was the rear bumper from the edge below the reg plate to the gap above the exhaust. Even the pro screwed up one of the stripes and had to cut another! Mind you, it may be easier with a single large stripe as it can't really go out of line... depends how brave you are and how much vinyl you get!
