Tuning N series
I've sold me TVR becuase it made my knee hurt and I'm looking around at options, I've seen a few 85th's for sale , but if I buy one I want at least 200bhp out of the engine.
Any suggestions and does anybody know if you can tune the n series???

Re: Tuning N series
As the N series is virtually identical to a K series, I would imagine that any bolt-ons would be compatible. However, the ignition system is completely different so you won't be able to go to Mark for a bit of ZandF treatment...
Get a Trophy. I'll sell you mine for the right offer!

Re: Tuning N series
As mentioned, they are still as tunable as MGRover TF's. The first thing to do on them though is to swap the exhaust manifold and downpipe to an MGR one or aftermarket due to all N series have a manivertor fitted along with the cat for emissions

As Adrian said Mark can Z&F the Chinese Fs, he just has to plug the ecu into an mgr car - I know cause I lent my car to him to remap mindys le500 when he did mine.

I stand corrected. I'd obviously been informed incorrectly.. Every day is a school day!
Re: Tuning N series
Still doesn't have the VVC though so suppose you'd looking at 150 bhp if you did the usual mods
