I think I'm going to give up on this month, I feel like shit becuase my blood sugar is totally screwed and now it appears that the TF is having fun with me. I took the little love out and the temp went up and I could smell colant and when I checked the cap was hissing nicely.

There doesn't appear to be water in the oil or the otherway around and I did replace the cap a couple of months ago so I must assume I have some sort of HGF, this sort of thing is just what I need at the moment, maybe it's the cars reaction to me thinking of putting the hardtop on!!!

Try another cap first, don't assume the worst as even new caps are prone to failure. Was it a genuine cap?

Came from the local unipart car factor, so I assume it's OEM quality.

Deffo get another cap Col as they are known to be of dodgy quality when new. I gave Lee a brand new cap I kept as a spare when his was knackered. Russell tested it a week later and it was faulty.for a couple of quid and the symptoms you mentioned i really do think it's the cap.
Hope everything else gets sorted with blood sugar etc mate

Thanks

I will get another cap and put it on where do people think it would be best to source one from that should be OK.

On the blood sugar thing, the sudden deterioration has been a bit of a shock, I've gone from a well controlled person on just tablets to a full blown dead pancreas guy that has a blood sugar of over 25 that now has to inject insulin in the space of a couple of months. Lets just say I'm feeling a bit woa is me Sad
