Well that's the final step in Smudge's performance tweaks and I must say I'm over the moon. Mark from ZandF-Tuning turned up at the Autumn Weekender on Saturday afternoon and after applying his magic to Paul's ZR160 and investigating FastJan's TF for a previous remap, he got plugged in to Smudge and did the deed!

After I'd taken him for a spin and got blown away by the increased pull from lower revs (and of course the red line of 7,450rpm!), I returned to the event field and chucked the keys in Lee's direction, as he drives a 45 daily too. Well going by the reaction I think he was slightly impressed. In fact, I nearly made a sale!
Carting! Laugh my a**e off!

So that's it for the big spending for a while. The only other major expense I could see in the future would be a decent stainless steel exhaust, but he sounds fine as he is. But mild steel doesn't last forever. Also, as he has a 'parker'fied unique downpipe it would have to be a custom manufactured one.

Oh, and did I mention the new wheels? Cool

The ones I had on this weekend were new. I had hairpins on up to a couple of weeks ago!

As I said at the weekender, the new alloys look awesome Rich. they really fill out the wheel arches well. I'm looking forward to one day fitting my mems 3 set up and getting Mark to Z&F tweak it Smile after the improvement you've seen with smudge.

Nick everyone who has had ZandF treatment has noticed a great difference lol

Quick question on mems conversion... the converted loom who on what forum is best to speak to about this?

Matt has done a few, who's looking at the conversion?

I'm looking forward to driving the Z&F VVC'ed Streetwise Very Happy the way it transformed the MGF suggests it's gonna be sweeeeeeet!
