Powerflow, said they could do it for 290+vat, rather an xpower one though (second hand), because I am as nearly tight as Colin.

Powerflow are very dependant on the quality of the agent you use.
I had my twin exit system custom built by the powerflow agent in Aylesbury, Topgear racing. I even got to pick the 'sound' I wanted and the tail finshers. Never had any complaints about the quality, service or workmanship. Dawn's cat back ZR system was done by them too.

There's a couple of pics here... http://gallery.brit-cars.com/showphoto.php/photo/112/title/powerflow-fabricated-y-pipe/cat/528
It was a couple of years ago, but since the guys running it owned the place there's no reason to suspect they've changed.

If you go powerflow make sure you can see examples of their work before hand as powerflow agents all vary with the quality of work. Your find that if the garage has been making exhausts for years before they went to a powerflow agent then you should have good work, if they started as a simple tyre and exhaust centre then you will find the work to be abit shoddy.
The system I have on the metro with the twin back boxes is a powerflow job done by the agent in Stoke, the welds are messy and the pipework is abit of a joke as they used sleave sections instead of making the pipe up from one peice with ncie bends (I didn't have it done the previous owner did) when I come to rebuilding the car I will make my own new system up or take it to a nother company like Custom Chrome in Coventry.
A friend had a new dual system made for his mk2 ZS 1.8 Turbo today, can't recall where(walsall area) or how much but I can fin out for you if you like, bit of a trip over but it would give you a comparision.

Re: MG ZS MK2 Saloon Duplex Exhaust
Yes it was MIJ, he sent me a pic and they don't look too bad, dual always suit the saloon than on the hatch which is why I don't have them on mine as its too much for the shorter back end.

Re: MG ZS MK2 Saloon Duplex Exhaust
Can you find out how much he paid?? and was it a cat back or just the back boxes

Re: MG ZS MK2 Saloon Duplex Exhaust
MIJ raped him of £485 for the complete custom system which was a cat replacement pipe, middle section and the twin rear boxes. Took them about 4hrs to make the systemk up.
