Anyone fancy the BTCC

With MG announcing a return to the BTCC today with the MG6 does anyone fancy going to a few races to cheer them on?

The car is being run by Triple-Eight Racing (who ran the works Vauxhalls) with Jason Plato and Andy Neate drivng. Main sponsor is Tesco with thier Momentum fuel brand.

I was at Silverstone for the final round last year.
BTCC is always exciting, Rockingham is the best place to watch.

media day is at Silverstone this year on 19th march.

Local races, Donnington 15th April (day after PoL)
Rockingham 23rd September (easily best for spectators)
Silverstone 7th October.

but oddly enough rockingham was the last mg meet we attended in our mg maestro ...

Not sure I could make Donington, but I reckon I could be up for the two Silverstone meets and of course the Rockingham one...


Now the last time I went to Rockingham and saw MGs racing in the BTCC was... Well, who can tell me from this pic when it was, and whose car is it with the bonnet up?

I probably won't camp but early mornings aren't a problem for me and it's more driving round the backroads where I grew up so all a bonus!
