Gear Lever Leather and Black Magic
I finally managed to seperate the leather handgrip from the lever assembly Lee gave me and fitted it to the ZS along with the new gaiter.
AND
The Black Magics that I bough on Sunday arrived today so hopefully will fit them this weekend. Now if I could only find the "Fly Eye" I put away somewhere safe, I could do the front indicators as well

Now is it just me or does that look a little bit rude lol
Hadn't thought about fitting the leather grip in the zs before, nice idea

Smut, like beauty, is in the eye of the beholder!
Feel like I will need to wash my hands after every time I use the handbrake now
Seriously though, I think it looks much better than the original very plasticy grip and gaiter on the ZS. Not sure if they were improved on the mk11?
Also wanted to continue the red/black trim theme.I am still keeping my eyes open for a set of red Monaco seats but occurs to me that the red may be a diferent shade so may be better looking for plain black leather.
I thought I had spotted a set in Northampton on ebay but when I read the listing, saw they were navy blue.

I shall say no more as this is a public forum
The mkII didn't have anything special or new and just kept it the same.
If you get the red monaco then I can't see the red being that different, the main difference will be that the gaiter is newer therefore it will be cleaner and brighter due to not having the wear. When you get some seats you may find that the sides of the seats will be worn, as 90% of second hand leather seats are, so you may be looking to get them restored and freshened up which would allow the red inserts to be brightened giving you a closer match
