Autumn MG & Triumph Show - 16th October 2011
Donington Park is playing host to a late season event on 16th October. Catering for both the MG and Truimph marques, the vendors promise a fully booked exhibition hall full of goodies and displays to tempt the enthusiast.
Several .org folk are planning to go and have a thread running HERE.
The event details, although rather brief, can be found HERE.

Re: Autumn MG & Triumph Show - 16th October 2011
Are we going to convoy (all three of us )?
Doors open at 10:00 so I guess we could meet at J15a and depart from there around 9:00?
My pal Chris is coming with me and if Ed also comes, may well go up in the ZS
If it is only the two of us, and weather is good, may well take the pet mice out for a Sunday drive

I'm afraid I'm going to have to pull out of this one as I've got lots of stuff to do this weekend. Hope you guys enjoy yourselves. Be sure to report back...

I guess not much point in a convoy if no one else comes
However, I expect to set of from home around 8:30 to 8:45 so could still meet up at 15a if you wanted?

Done the show and I have to say to those that didn't come , you didn't miss much, but I suppose if it grows it could be alright.

Nice to know but its always good to go to a different venue at times even if there isn't much there as its a chance of scenary.
Coventry Transport Museum was alright for me as nice weather, quite afew locals came up and chatted and so I changed afew of the their minds about why Metro's and what makes them special lol, inside the museum was ok, same as last year but when its completely free you can't complain

Well, it wasn't exactly huge but it was a run out and managed to spend a couple of hours looking at the cars and rummaging around the stalls plus have 3 coffees and a bacon roll!
Was hoping I may stumble across a walnut handbrake grip, Welovemgf's said they had a grip and gear knob set but could not find it, so must have sold already!
Having removed the Mike Satur speaker trim, I realised I had screws sticking through the black rim (clips broken at the back so screwed on) but at £20 each I decided not to invest in a replacement!
Did not spot any Black Magic rear lights for the ZS either!
I did at least buy 2 new rubbers for the brake and clutch pedals so it was well worth the trip!
On balance, may well do it again next year but also find somewhere to have a good lunch to make more of a day of it
