Re: Various items..
The mems 3 conversion kit, would it work on my Mk1 VVC as it has aircon, and would I need anything else? if not consider it sold..also would you be able to help me fit it??

Re: Various items..
Ooh well predicted Colin though it's be a while before I got it remapped as I've spent all my F'ing money for the forseeable future at this rate.

Re: Various items..
I will make an engine loom plug and play for you sir and you will be able to keep the aircon(pansy ) as soon as I get enough energy to go back into the garage I will make the loom up and your ready to go. No problem in helping you fit it either as that is fairly straighty forward, just make sure the kettle is working on the day

Re: Various items..
Hi Matt,
Do you happen to have in your newly found stash of parts:
Cheers
Steve
Do you happen to have in your newly found stash of parts:
- a 52mm throttle body (to fit to my ZS that is)? I can't justify the £200 for a remap just yet but sounds like I would get some good benefit from changing the throttle
- A pair of cloth TF door pods? I am thinking of getting dark red pod covers and seems a shame to just rip the black leather from my existing ones
Cheers
Steve

Re: Various items..
Hi Nick,
That is brilliant, thanks. I am not in any rush so the November meet will be fine for me, unless you are going to do Donnington on 16th Oct?
I will probably wait for October pay day before I buy the leather covers anyway! Already paid out for the TF's insurance and tax plus AA renewal out of September's pay!
Cheers mate

Re: Various items..
I will check on the door card centres as I know I have a spare set of door cards so will look at the condition and type.
52mm throttle body I don't think so as the one floating about that I know of is to go on my pickup, I do have several earlier 55mm throttle bodys that I am converting to bolt straight on which give exactly the same performance as a 52mm throttle body but for a lot less cost, would you want one of these if so when?
Another item for the lot....
Found some brand new after market side repeaters for F/TF, 25/ZR, Metro etc, these are the Ultra 'chrome' look which are similar to face lift ZS and ZT. £5

Re: Various items..
Hi Matt
Nick has sorted me out a pair of door pods so I can tick that off the list.
With regard to the throttle body, if it is going to fit straight on and will give the same benefits as the later one and costs less that is fine. How much will they be?
As with the doorcard pods, I am in no rush so whenever you are up and about and next down to a meet is fine.
Will you be at Donnington on 16th?
Cheers

Re: Various items..
either it was my net book or the site just had a wobble, lost all of my typing just, anyway
throttle body £30, which is a more reasonable cost compared to most 52mm
I don't have a rack but if you need one I should be able to get one as I know people at breakers so I can ask for you if you like.
