Parts for 'Project Ollie'
You've probably read about how Ollie is to return to the roads under the new ownership of 'saltyseadog' Well, I'm helping out with procuring the parts that went 'missing' whilst he was sitting on my driveway...
- Wheels & tyres ... DONE! Thanks Colin.
- Trophy Spoiler ... Nick... Pressure's on!

Re: Parts for 'Project Ollie'
I have got a very nice Anthracite standard ZS spoiler going spare!
May be a tad too wide for the F though

Re: Parts for 'Project Ollie'
Ollie already has the holes for a trophy spoiler and Nick has already said yes in principle, but thanks for the offer anyway!StevePem wrote:I have got a very nice Anthracite standard ZS spoiler going spare!

Re: Parts for 'Project Ollie'
Well if the worse comes to it and I always have a spare Trophy spoiler, I think Volcano would look very fetching on Tahiti
What other parts are required?
btw Rich still got a splitter for me?

Re: Parts for 'Project Ollie'
Well after switching the wheels we're going to need about 6 MGR wheel nuts and more than likely a full set of discs & pads. Would you be able to do the same deal as you did for my dad on those? Fraz has apparently already sorted some new locking nuts.Matt Parker wrote:What other parts are required?
Still on the car but Fraz knows he can't keep it. However, he does want one so if you or anyone else knows of a decent second hand one...Matt Parker wrote:btw Rich still got a splitter for me?

Re: Parts for 'Project Ollie'
Does anyone have any standard Mk1 door card inserts they want to dispose of? Preferably the black ones as they would match the seats that are going in Ollie for the timebeing but anything considered really...
And Nick, about this spoiler? Have we got a price or delivery date yet?

Re: Parts for 'Project Ollie'
Okay ref the spoiler I tried to remove it from the bootlid and it's pretty well attached due to my overzealous use of sealant when I fitted it! I'll keep trying, but it may get delivered still attached to the bootlid. I'm not around for the next meet so maybe well have to organise a lunch time catch up again to hand it over?

Actually I may be getting hold of some red one this weekend, so if I get them I will let you know so you have my old ones.

Bugga, been beaten to it.
I still have my original mk1 door cards in the garage loft under a TF dash board which you could have. The only use I found for them was helping to keep the dash board in place lol.

Re: Parts for 'Project Ollie'
Rich, if you still after the door inserts, I have them now, nice black leather ones for you.
Just PM your address, and next time I go through Northampton I will drop them off. Saying that if you come near brackley then you can pick them up of me.

Re: Parts for 'Project Ollie'
Update to 'parts required' list:
- Interior door handle surrounds (rectangular Mk1) < sambomonkee
- Front indicators, preferably clear/smoked but orange will do temporarily!< STILL NEEDED
- T-Bar stud screws (the ones you clip the tonneau to)< sambomonkee
- Interior fuse box cover panel < sambomonkee
- Cubby box for under centre armrest < sambomonkee
- A pair of standard washer jets or a single heated jet < sambomonkee
- Seatbelt pretentioners (pair) < eBay!
Odd bits I know but they were either broken or have been donated!

Re: Parts for 'Project Ollie'
I have all of those apart from the indicators and seat belt pre-tensioners,

Re: Parts for 'Project Ollie'
What ever you want to pay for them all donations will be going towards to TF.
Do you still want the door inserts?

Re: Parts for 'Project Ollie'
I'm just waiting for Matt to dig out his door cards as his actually match the seats that are in Ollie, but I'll let you know when I do. If in the meantime somebody else wants them, feel free to sell them. I don't want to hold you up!Sambomonkee wrote:Do you still want the door inserts?
Re the price, I'll ask the man with the money how his budget is and get back to you...
Re: Parts for 'Project Ollie'
No more than fiver for it all. The inserts will not sell for money so, I will just hold them as spares, incase someone needs them.

Re: Parts for 'Project Ollie'
Sold...
I'll try to get over some time this week to pick them up if you're ok with evenings.
Just thought of something else... Do you have a pair of sunvisors by any chance?

Re: Parts for 'Project Ollie'
I'm here from 4:30pm all week, I do have sunvisors but they are on ebay, and have bids so, cannot really stop them now.
Sambomonkee- Registered user
Re: Parts for 'Project Ollie'
Found them and even put a bid in but I think someone has put a much higher amount on as I was instantly knocked back. Oh well, I'll keep an eye on them and see how we go!
Re: Parts for 'Project Ollie'
I'll have a look for some sun visors I know I have a black interior surround and 1 black visor, I think I also have a set the cream coloured ones the the don't have any flaps iirc.

Re: Parts for 'Project Ollie'
Thanks for the offer Nick, but my dad has come up trumps on these. I gave him the ones from TC when I switched the cream for black trim, but his originals weren't that bad. Just the flap problem there too. So they'll be fine for the timebeing. Amazing what a little square of sticky velcro can do!
