The SmS 2012 Calendar!

As the 2011 calendar was so successfull last year, plans are afoot for another one for 2012!

It's about now that I'm going to need to start gathering images for each of the 12 months and this year a special one for the front cover. So please can you start having a look through your collections for suitable pics.

The rules for submissions this year are as follows:

• Pictures must be of a suitable resolution (Recommended minimum size is 1200 x 800)
  
• The picture must feature your car as the main subject matter but can be any location, eg at a picturesque location or at an event (please give details of where the picture was taken
  
• Your car must not have appeared in the 2009 or 2011 calendars
  
• Members who have never had a car featured previously will take priority over those who have
  
• You must provide details of the featured car with the picture
  
• You can request a preferred month to be featured
  
• The closing date for submissions is Friday 11th November 2011
  
• Pictures can be emailed to rich@southmids-sportsters.org or provided on CD or USB memory stick (which will be returned)

Just thought would be great to have my Pickup in it but I don't think I will be able to complete the body work in time for a photo shoot before printing

How about a compilation of all my cars edited together for mine, or maybe that of members for end of the year, or just a picture of all of us together looking pissed for the end of year shot

Rich if you think the're good enough any of the ones you have will be great for August (you'd think i had a birthday round then ) That said Macleod on Tescos car park doesn't really have a ring to it so i might get Mrs S to go a bit David Bailey somewhere a bit more picturesque. Maybe go for some of the motion shots if i can find someone with a 4x4 or estate

Ok, we have five possible entries for the calendar so far. So to save a few brain cells, that means we need seven more! There must be one or two from recent runs that people wish to forward? Also, it would be nice to see cars from newer faces in the club.


I'll need to start taking orders starting at the next meet on 6th October. I'll be able to confirm the price on the night, so have your wallets/purses/piggy banks/under mattress stashes at the ready!
