I'm up and running on an iPhone

Right my 'new' Iphone 3gs 16gb is now up and running. Let the geeking begin!

I've got the latest operating system and used media widget to download all the 'old' songs onto my laptop. so now I have 20gb of music on my laptop. My iphone interfaces with the audi's blue tooth phone systyem so much better than my nokia, full phone book functionality etc. Over all I'm dead chuffed, I guess this is going to cost me a fortune in accessories now

Accessories or apps? Most decent apps are free, except for the games! Next time we meet up, I'll show you the essential apps you need and a few tricks of the trade...

I've got a dedicated car bracket for you so you can save some pennies there. You probably won't need much else, although I can recommend a quality looking hard case that's available through HMV. Kate has one on her (my old) iphone. Gives that extra bounceproof protection!

I think you'd look a bit daft holding an iPad up to your ear, not only because it's a tad on the large size but also because you can't make calls on it!

Go for the i4... Then I can finally try this facetime thing! Needs to be a 32Gb if you're going to do some HD filming/editing...

I can't wait until my phone contract runs out so I can get another iPhone...I thought I wouldn't miss the mobile internet and multi-media but I do I'm a mini-geek and I don't care

Just about to purchase TomTom UK & Western Europe for my i4, now my old SatNav is sold. By all accounts, it works well with the built in GPS, but if not I'll wait for the TomTom i4 bracket to be released and get that... Lots of changes in the software. Getting rather excited. Roll on home time!!!!

Well what can I say? My new SatNav is absolutely fantastic! Spot on and quick with the GPS and all the new functions found on the top range TomToms like IQ routes, live travel integration and spoken directions that include the street names. It even interacts with iPod and fades the music with each spoken instruction. Awesome!



My favourite games at the moment are Jailbreaker (nowt to do with phone hacking) and Sunday Lawn. Although I've also been hooked on Godfinger recently, as anyone who is a facebook friend will no doubt have noticed!
