Hi chaps, Unfortunately my dad has been taken ill and will be in and out of hospital a fair bit over the coming months, so I'm covering some chauffeuring duties as he will not be capable of driving for some time. He'll be coming out of hospital the weekend of the 22nd so i wont be available.

I am still obviously aiming to be there for Britcars the following weekend though, and look forward to catching up with everyone at the pub meet on the 19th

That's a real shame Nick. I hope your dad feels better soon. I know he's an active guy so I would imagine he's not that happy at the moment. Please send our best.

Do you think you'll make the 'Wheels in Winslow' event straight after Brit-Cars?

I hope you do make it... We wouldn't be going if it wasn't for your 'heads up' on the event in the first place!

Everyone on club stands needs to be there by 11.30am so if you turn up later, you'll probably be sent to the 'common' car park! Cool

Well guys, there's seven of us (cars that is) going so we may as well meet somewhere. My suggestion is the car park area just in front of Kingsbrook School which is just off the A422 on Stratford Road. Postcode for SatNav is MK19 6HN.

You can have a lay in as we can meet as late as 11am to be set up for the 11.30am deadline... I'll have the club kit with me.

It'll have to be 'stickered up' to be on the stand of course... Thumbs up

I predicted the Zed wouldn't come as there is the possibility of moisture in the air! (probably the reason for a no show last night Rolling Eyes

) Shame though as there are going to be scoobys and mitzis there and the Zed would show them up... well a little! Suspect

Yeah, I saw that too... So here's my plan:

We all still turn up at the meeting point as planned and have a vote on whether to proceed to the event. If the votes say no, we all pile into a local pub instead where it's warm and dry. What do you think?

Well, I would, but it's currently immobilised in the workshop...so Rich, the Zed will be in attendance-the only one of my three MGR Group cars that's currently on the road in rude health (touch wood!!!).

Ditto the above-we managed to get up late (amongst other issues...) so didn't make it-sorry guys. Rich-Lee gave me your number to call but it sounded like you were talking through a sock on the phone, so couldn't really communicate too well with you.
