MG Show & Spares Day - 22nd February 2009

Not even finished with 2008 and I'm putting details on for 2009 events...



The first main event of the year - the season opener - is the MG Show & Spares Day at the National Agricultural Centre, Stoneleigh. The MGF Register will no doubt be having a stand there and one or two of us will be working on it. However, it would be great to take a nice little convoy up to the event.

Neil, Tim organises the F Register stand there, so might be worth having a chat with him. If we can back onto or be next to each other, then we can share the exhibition equipment. If so, we might want to get the Zed Register graphics sorted and that way it would all be ready for the NEC as well. Also, I could then bring double the amount of carpet with me so you can have it all nicely carpeted and look very professional!

I have about 470 sq mtrs of carpet from the NEC F Reg, MGCC and MGOC stands! It would have cost almost £500 each to have disposed of it, so I took it away in the trailer and am storing it in my mums garage!

Since posting this we have put an entry in for the road run to the Coventry Transport Museum visit with the 'F' register and will stay along with a few others at Coventry Hill Hotel, so it is CTM Saturday and then Stoneleigh Sunday. See you all there.

there are about 6/7 car parks at six fields mate! The temptation for McDonalds breakfast was too overwhelming so we decided to stay clear of the McDonalds Car Park and meet at the Cinema Car park!!

We didn't put anything as it's likely to be only two of us coming from the Northants area. Several others will be there but are doing the CTM run and staying up at Coventry.
