Just hada bit of a close shave! Driving Charlie to school, and came round a corner, going down a steep hill, to encounter half a tree in the road. There was a car coming the other way so could only stand on the brakes and pray!
Sods law, there were wet leaves in the road, the wheels locked up and we skidded sideways in slow motion towards the oncoming car! tapped the brakes like i was playing the piano, and we stopped a hairs breadth from both the other car, and the tree!!!

Charlie, bless him carried on talking about Star Wars throughout, and still has no idea that things nearly went horribly wrong!

Was only doing 25 Thank God, or Wrigglys little problem might have become a much bigger one!!

He doesnt need to boast - his class mates already think his mum has the coolest car ever built!! They all stop and watch when I come to pick him up, which he finds enormously satisfying!!

In saying that driving home from Rochelle's yesterday afternoon, down a few country roads, completely spun out!

Thank fully nothing coming nor anything behind me, but it woke me up!!!

Was the oddest thing though, turned left onto the junction, back end slipped abit, caught it, then carried on going, avoided the kerb and ditch on the otherside........................ almost a full 360 and carried onwithout braking or anything!!!!

VERY aware after that!!!!

Living in Switzerland and driving on snow and ice a lot has definitely helped my winter motoring!! Snow tyres would be nice though - they rock!

He doesnt need to boast - his class mates already think his mum has the coolest car ever built!! They all stop and watch when I come to pick him up, which he finds enormously satisfying!!

Although after tonights stunt - he deserves for me to borrow a Lada to pick him up in for the next 6 weeks!!

Ours did that when I put the surround sound speakers close by. A bad design as CRT (The ones with the old glass tubes) TVs are supposed to be sheilded from magnets! So it met with a surreal and premature ending and we claimed on our accidental damage insurance... Ended up with a 42" plasma!

Perhaps that's what Charlie is aiming for... A new telly...

He's got the devil in him at the moment - deserves everything he gets!!! Latest game is a small plastic squeezy thing which he fills with water, sets up under the loo seat - and then nearly wets himself laughing as it squirts anyone who sits on it!!

Am very tempted to refill it with silicon sealant!

Well that would make a nice waterproof seal between the seat and your butt!
