19th isn't listed in available dates. That might be because it's the last Friday before Christmas and possibly booked up.

have you contacted them yet Dave? Might be an idea to check what dates are still available and also the accommodation deal if not having the full english the following morning (for Stew's sensitive stomach)...

Well I will be staying along with the parents....I can't take time off work, so would prefer a weekend date. I can't remember the last day of term either for Christmas, but I think it is on a Wed this year.

Contacted the organisers who will get back to me this evening by e mail as to what nights are available for us to join a Party Night. I am out all afternoon. Joining a Party Night means we don't need a minimum number of attendees but we do need to say how many. I've said 36 people and we can can either reduce or increase that number.

Watch this space.

One thought I had is how do we contact those members who do not frequent the Forum?

I'll have a look at the records and see who we have email addresses for. Then we can compile an email with all the details for them. If there are any without email addresses, we could try phoning or texting (if they have mobile numbers)... Shall I forward the details to you or do you want me to do it?

I'll also update the website diary page, just in case anyone drops in there!

As this is a general Christmas discussion, could I please ask that you check both the Christmas Party thread and the Lincoln Christmas Market thread to make sure your name is on the list if you're interested?

Let's wait and see. Melissa rang at tea time and is having trouble getting us in on a Friday or Saturday Sad
