Regalia comes a step closer!

Good news on the regalia front!

I've been speaking to an alternative embroidery company that's a little closer to me with regards to what we're looking to do for our new range of clothing featuring the logo. The best bit of news is that we can actually go ahead with the artwork preperation immediately with the funds we have raised through our raffle. So I've asked them to go ahead. I'm hoping we'll have a sample of the artwork by MGFest and I'll be able to update our order form and website/forum with costs and options. Apologies for not being able to have the actual garments ready for MGFest but at least we'll be able to promote the range...

The new magnets have been ordered and those who pre-ordered them will have them at MGFest.

When would you like to draw the raffle? At the Saloon day this Sunday, or at MGFest? I'm thinking this Sunday might be better, as MGFest weekend will be busy, and I might forget again!!!

Can do, but we could just photograph the draw, so people can see the result and see that it was fair! I don't think we are likely to sell any more tickets, as everybody has put in, some more than once!

It wasn't the fairness I was worried about and am offended that you thought I might be

I was thinking more that it was an SMS event and should be inclusive of as many memebrs as possible. That was all.

Was just thinking that a picture taken will show people that it happened, and wasn't just me in the house picking out my own ticket!!!!

Anyway, I'll carry the tickets with me, and see what people think. I know a few have asked if it's been drawn yet, I think they are eager to win it!

Bearing in mind that we were supposed to be drawing it at the last pub meeting, I think that MG Saloon Day may well be a good place to do it, with a photo to prove it wasn't in Stewart's House! My thinking is that we may just be able to get the chosen garment ready for the next pub meeting where it can be presented to the winner, which is more important for a public display than the draw itself.

Are all happy with that?

Stewart, we'll sort the money out this weekend if you like.
