Whilst having a gentle joke with a few people (David, Max et al) on another thread the idea of a drag race was mentioned in jest - I think!

That set me thinking about this (with my serious hat on) has anyone been on a rung what you brung day at the Pod?

I'd be interested in going / watching / having a go, would anyone else be interested? it'd be good if we could get a group of us together and give it a go.

I know the MGOC guys have been once or twice (nitrous TFs MGBGT V8 etc) so if anyone has any info or contacts maybe we should get something together.

I'll have to replace my gear change mech for the TF one in my garage as the current one is like stirring porridge even in gear. (don't tel David)

Ok, I'll keep it a secret!

I have been to a fair few of RWYB days at Pod, they are good, but can get VERY busy...especially waiting for the ques to go down when everyone is waiting to get on the strip.

I think it will be a good day - lots of Chavmobiles to look at and for you guys there are women in tight lycra...YAWN!!!

I will go though if a few of you are - I won't go on the strip though.

Perhaps we could go next time Debs from EAMGF goes up with her nitrous TF. She's incredibly competitive and I'm sure she would love supporting cheers from the banks. Like Max, I wouldn't take mine up though. Can't afford knackering a set of tyres or doing any other damage at the moment.

Rich.
