Gone quiet again...
Has everyone gone on holiday or something? There's a distinct lack of chat here...

Re: Gone quiet again...
It's either that or everyone is 'otherwise engaged' due to the crypto sporidium in the water round Northants!
I'm getting ridiculously excited about MGfest and have been trying new ways of packing all the cr@p I need into the F, roll on July.

We are still here. The 'F' isn't. Drove to MG's In The Trees, weekend,Brmingham. Pulled into the hotel park and ...whoa, smoke out the engine bay. Just had the gasket done too!
No, it was the air con. Dumped all the coolant as well. About to get another compressor, the fourth! Seems the last two may not have had oil added at time of fitting and hence the noise they have made since.
This week end going to Wishbech to support Sean of the East Anglia 'F's. Country fair.
See ya all soonest at an SMS near you.

Only if you play badly
It's a bit like SMS, if the company is good it makes the game a far better experience and seriously enjoyable.

Re: Gone quiet again...
I'm here! Sorry guys and gals, but I've been trying to catch up with stuff since Silverstone, and at the same time, the preperation work for MGFest is really starting to mount up. Plus work has gone really mad at the moment, so struggling to get time to go on the forums!

I feel a drag race challenge coming on. Well Nick? That cul de sac outside the Lamb & Flag might serve the purpose

Re: Gone quiet again...
Glad to hear she's back on the road again and now with silent aircon. Did you have the Landrover gasket and rail fitted?
Nick- Admin/Moderator
Re: Gone quiet again...
After an extensive talk with Roger Parker of the MGOC, the rail doesn't make that much of a difference so it's not really necessary to change it. It definitely doesn't make any difference to the likelyhood of another HGF!Nick wrote:Did you have the Landrover gasket and rail fitted?
Rich.
Re: Gone quiet again...
Thanks for interest Nick, not sure but gasket is new type and new bolts. Seems fine now. Really has cost a bit of late but if we keep the car long term as we intend and usually do, then each year that passes makes it a cheap car. No depreciation etc. Don't really change our cars much. Had a Volvo engined marcos for years and an SE6 Scimtar for 22 years....
