Well I've finally got an iphone 4, so my iphone 3gs 16gb is now up for sale, its got all the original manuals, box, accessories, is unlocked to any network.
Theres a small scratch on the back and a tiny crack where the power charger goes in, but it all works absolutely fine. Screen is in perfect condition. Tidy phone.
Bung in your simcard and the appley goodness is ready to roll

Going to keep my 4S 64Gb as not only will the new one not be worth the difference but I'd have to change all my accessories to be able to use the new port. I've got more important things to invest in at the moment. And I don't want to give Colin the satisfaction on his bet!

Well after seeing the iphone 5 launch, I'm definitely sticking with my 4S. Not enough changed this time round. Seems the press are agreeing too. Give it a year and they might just do something that will make me reconsider. The iOS6 upgrade will be more than enough for me and once jailbroken again, all will be fine...

So Nick, your 3GS can be upgraded next Wednesday along with the newer models! Good news for the new owner.

One last thing, they've updated the nano and it can no longer do the 'watch' thing. Glad I bought mine when I did!
