iPhone 4 16/32gb
Is there any difference between the two apart from storage space? I don't think I'll fill up 16gb, never mind 32, but I was wondering if there are any additional useful bits you get on the larger capacity iphone?

No, there aren't any other differences but I went for the higher capacity 32Gb because of a couple of reasons. The iPhone 4 video recording is in HD so takes up quite a lot of space. If you plan to do some mini movies (with quality equal to some of the decent camcorders on the market) it's definitely worth considering having the space for that. Even the stills camera is of excellent quality so space for pics is useful. Secondly there are some fantastic games available which take up quite a bit of space. And of course if you plan to use it as your main source of music, 32Gb is pretty average for a media player these days.
I moved from an 8Gb iPhone 3G and yet I've only got 4Gb left of my 32Gb now! 16Gb just wouldn't be enough to feed my habit!

Re: iPhone 4 16/32gb
I've still got about half of my 8gb available and my entire music collection is only about 8gb so I think the smaller one will suffice, plus it's about £120 cheaper!
Any comments on which network to go for? At the moment I'm swaying towards O2 as they have the best deal and I've been with them previously without many problems (certainly less than Orange).

Orange and T-mobile now share networks and 3g access so if you run out of signal on one it moves you to the other: your bill is unaffected, I find my t-mobile coverage excellent.

I reckon, on the quiet, T-Mobile are being bought out by Orange. It's a bit weird when two previously fierce competitors suddenly start working together like that. Also, T-Mobile USA has just been bought out by AT&T...
I don't have any experience of an iPhone with any other providers than O2. I was always with Vodafone before, but originally O2 were the only company who provided a proper iPhone contract and supported the visual voicemail function, etc. I think the others now do this but I'm happy to stay with O2 as they've been good to me, especially when I wanted to restart my contract on iPhone 4 launch day!

Was that part of the deal? I thought you had to be a Sky Sports subscriber and pay an additional fee for that.Captain Slow wrote:... and I can get the Sky Sports TV package -win!
Well done on your purchase... Let me know if you need any help, including jailbreaking (which is completely reversible in case you're worried about warranty etc.)

It's £6 extra per month-nothing mentioned about being a Sky subscriber but I (well, my Dad is and I pay for my + box ) am anyway.
It didn't arrive at the Vodafone shop yesterday but I've received an email saying it's "on its way", so hopefully on Monday I'll have it. It'd be nice, considering my existing contract runs out on Monday...
I might ask for your help in downloading some apps & stuff-I'll bring my laptop & phone to the next meet
