Hi people.

Our insurance has just come up for renewal on the 'F'. Had a ring from the company. Apparently we are over the 5000mile limit as stated. I now find we may not have been insured for the extra miles period since then.

I was advised to not use the car now until 8th June. I guess my fault for not keeping an eye on things , but, easily done eh? ( could pay extra premium to use now but expensive for just a few short days)

If you are on this type of policy, do check to see you are not over your mileage limit. With Insurance it pays to cross the T's and dot the I's. (OLD SAYING)

Here endith the lesson

I've heard that before! A mate of mine up north always paid less for insurance because he didnt do many miles, but he also had to report his mileage regulary because if he went over the insured amount he was not covered. Or would have to pay a big premium
