Ladies and gentlemen, im having to sell the F . Its been a real pleasure meeting all of you and I wanted to ask your advice as to how much I should list it for?

Its an S reg and has 72k on the clock, never been messed with, now has a black hard top, heated rear windscreen etc (may sell that sep) as its in really good condition, theses a few scratches and a split in the back bumper about 20cm long (bloody next door left her Corsa resting against it one night ) I also have this brand new still boxed and never fitted sports exhaust that I paid £200 for, shall I sell that sep?

I appreciate im not going to get back what I paid for it at the begining of the summer but hey, thats life. you guys know your stuff, so any ideas??

That really is a difficult one, the prices of F's are all over the place at the moment.

I would probably sell the exhaust ( what type is it?) and roof separately. What sort of figure do you have in mind, that would give us an idea on if you might get it or not??

I know the prices are a bit wild! well I paid £1600 for her back in April, and i'd ideally like £1400, its a stainless steel Toyosports exhaust, never even been fitted, total waste of money really lol do you think id het more if I left the hard top on?

I think you'll get more if you sell the hard top separately. Won't make much difference to the value of the car but would fetch a reasonable amount on it's own especially at this time of year...

Well, the exhaust got to be worth 200 on the bay and the hard top around 250+ this time of year.

The car, on ebay I doubt will break 1000, they generally selling for around 600-800 , and with the split bumper you really going to get knocked down on that, worth fixing first

I would avoid ebay, its just too un-predictable, try autotrader or piston heads first.

It'll be just plain black and not a specific paint code. The standard ones were like that so they would go with any car. But they are resprayable...
