No not the furry kind but a flickering Catalitic converter light on the dash in our 'F'.
We were driving back from Sudbury Suffolk last night (daughter moved from London, hurray) when the light started to flicker. I rang Richard for advice as I was not sure how serious a failure could be. He rang Matt and whilste driving I got a message back.
Turns out those warning lights were only fitted to Japanese export cars which ours is. They warn of gass emmisions being unacceptable so something had annoyed ours for some reason. It kept flickering for sixty miles and then went out.
Quite what/is was going on I have no idea, maybe some dud fuel etc. The point is how nice it is to have a back up of knowledge at hand and on the move as well. You cannot get that from the AA.
