How off topic!!! Well actually made really interesting read this morning!! So whats this surprise.... and whats it for?

So di we manage to get any more guys for the challenge team?

Rich is it restriced to 2 ladies as i have a feeling we are more likely to get more ladies than men to sign up!!

Ok, so last year we had quite a bit of success with the competitions at MGFest07. Last years results were....

Glow Car Parade - Nick Holland (Winner)
Pride Of Ownership (Other MG) - Nick Holland (Second)
Fun Driving Tests - Stewart (Winner), Dave Dunlop (Second)
Reverse Steer MGF - Stewart (Winner) with help from Dave D.

Matt Jeacock was robbed last year for the Glow Car Parade, as there was originally an improvised category, but due to a lack of participants it got scrapped, and so he was entered in the overall competition, competing with the professionally fitted systems, however he came third, but this wasn't quite good enough for a trophy. I have spoken with the Chairman and this year I'm assured that there WILL be a trophy for best improvised, so hopefully Matt will be along again, as Kathryn and I will invest in a large supply of glow sticks once more and will help him to do a complete glowstick design of his car! (DaveD, you'd better let him know and make sure he comes along!)

So, this years competitions are listed below, you need to complete an entry form which can be obtained from www.mgfest.co.uk. Post on here if you plan on entering, as we will make sure that we are around to cheer and support all SMSers that take part, as well as supporting our team in the Inter Region Challenge.
