Re: Alloys
Yeah, paint them silver!
Only joking. Sorry I didn't reply to your text. I was in meetings at work all day. Are your wheels metallic black like Stew's or are they just matt black?

Flippin' 'eck. I haven't been called Stoney since my school days back in the 80s...M77XNE wrote:dont you start taking the P Stoney boy!!!!!!!
Anyhow, serious answer to your question... I would be tempted to put some copper grease around the centre where the wheel meets the centre of the hub. Just a little smeared on will make them easier to get off if you have to change a wheel roadside due to a puncture or whatever. Did it with mine. Only thing is Clifton-Lane did the wheelnuts up a tad too tight and I had to get them to release them a bit and not use the compressed air rachet to do them up again!!!!

Re: Alloys
I have one wheel on and it looks 'mint' lol
One problemo - we can't get the cap things off on the other 3 wheels. The spannery thing has chewed them up. Looks like I need a new set!!
How can I get the rest of them off?

Hope you don't mind me editing the links. Wanted to be able to see them on here!
Excellent wheels. Just need to thrash the car a bit so the rainbows disappear from the tyres!

Re: Alloys
The 'rainbows' should be gone by sunday. Not too sure what to do with the suspension. Might get it lowered, however I am getting a trophy splitter and won't be able to get onto my drive if I drop it. There is also lots of 'humps' around here and it sometime scrapes on one or 2 of them if I have a passenger
