Hoses Empty Hoses

I'm getting cross with the hoses hanging round in a box under my table!

How difficult are they to fit, and would I be biting off more than I can chew to have a crack at doing it myself?

i assume you mean coolant hoses!

Erm i think you should be able to manage it! its just filling the system that is the trickier part!

Even some supposedly 'expert' garages have problems with getting the cooling system right, so I would be tempted to get a reputable one to do it. There's not much point in doing half the job yourself as you won't be able to drive it anywhere to get it finished off for you. But the hose fitting isn't that complicated, so it shouldn't cost too much.

That is good advice Richard, Clifton Lane has some kind of special tool for the job. Getting all the air out is critical!

Ali...trust me dont do it unless you have the vacuum equipment to fill the system again. I did mine, bled the system drove round the corner and then saw the temperature gauage shoot up! ended up towing it to clifton lane to get it refilled!
