Hi everyone,
I'm Andy aka Taphouse, I drive a 2001 MG ZR160 in trophy blue, its had a fair bit of work done, and a whole load more to be done. I've had it nearly 3 years of faultless driving.
I live in Southampton, I know its outside your area but got a lot of friend in the midlands so travel up and down a fair bit. Also me and missus like nothing better that spend some in Oxford where my family come from.
So why am I here?? Well I've been around the MG/Rover owners scene for a while now, and help run my friends owner club/fourm XtremeMGR. I like the feel of little clubs, because think you get a better atomphere at events. So I only live an hour away from oxford, and have organised a meet in oxford before and have no trouble driving up. So it might be nice to tag along to any meets you might have in the Oxford area.
Oh and the missus has an F which we both love!
Cheers
Andy

Re: Newbie
No problem about where you live mate. We've got quite a few members 'out of our region' who visit us here.
We mainly cover four counties and our monthly meetings rotate through each one. January's meeting is an Oxfordshire one (venue TBA) and February's one will be Buckinghamshire (which shouldn't be much further for you!). On that basis, I hope you and the missus can make at least 50% of them!
Excellent pics in the gallery btw... You may make our 2010 calendar!

Welcome Taphouse...car looks sweet! Hope to see you soon at one of the pub meets!
Just out of curiosity, how often do you have to repaint the white letters on your tyres? I've always thought about doing mine, but then thought it would need re-doing quite often??
Cheers

It can't be!! Stewart hasnt done his!!
It makes me laugh seeing the kids round here, who buy really cheap and nasty budget tyres, then paint the name in!
