If I could understand what you were saying I would reply...........don't know, never touched it
Why are you fiddling with that when you have just had the HG done?

Sorry i posted from my mobile so didnt type correct!
when the system was refilled he overfilled it and said it would settle down however its still running too high. so i have let some out through the rad bleed valve some air came out too, only a little. But it was a pain to put back as i think i unscrewed it too much!

I think this deserves to move to the banter section... Not exactly a technical thread! But I'll leave it here just in case somebody comes along and adds something constructive...

Re: radiator bleed screw
If they are the same as on the F's then yeah they are that fiddely! even after drinking beer and smoking wacky backy it still doesnt get any easier! did the coolant come out fast? when i tried to do mine, i realised the bleed nipple was blocked stuck a pin in the hole and it squirted out everywhere! (honestly no inuendo meant in this reply....I have no idea how to spell inuendo either)

Re: radiator bleed screw
The word is FIDDLY... And Seb, you nearly got innuendo correct. Just an 'n' missing. I checked my Queen CD!

Yeah it went everywhere! Then when putting it back bit concerned trying not to over tighten! Are these easy to break? If so how do they break?
Had to take it for a run and the coolant was then steaming off the radiator

I havent got a clue if they are easy to break or not, I would try not to over tighten it though! Like i said before mine just got blocked with crap so had to clear it!
Just be careful you dont get it on the paintwork or you will be doing more than waxing it again in the next years!
